Joe Donald Palmer Jr

Joe Donald Palmer, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 89.  

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at White's Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells.

Joe was born on April 25, 1935 in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of Joe D. and Attie Lee Palmer.  

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. It was during his tenure, while stationed at Fort Wolters in Mineral Wells, that he would meet the love of his life, Frances Deen Warren. They would go on to spend 68 happy years of marriage together.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and son, Ronald Joe Palmer.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Frances Deen Palmer; beloved children, Michael Palmer and his wife, Judy, and Derrick Palmer and his wife, Amy; grandchildren, Ryan Goldston and his wife, Vanessa, Christian Palmer and his wife, Stephanie, and Colton Palmer and his wife, Victoria; his cherished great-grandchildren, Peyton, Myla Paige, Emmett, and Graham; and a host of extended family members and friends too numerous to name. 

Joe will be entombed with his son Ron at Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth at a later date.
