JoeAnn Pipes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a cherished member of her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas 76086.
There will be a reception immediately following at Quail Springs Clubhouse, 100 Goldfinch Lane, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
Known for her warm, gentle, and compassionate spirit, JoeAnn was a loving and supportive partner to her husband Bill. Together, they created a home filled with love, kindness, and faith. As a mother and grandmother, JoeAnn’s example of devotion and grace was unparalleled. She was a woman who cherished family and community, often demonstrating her love through her passion for cooking, singing, the outdoors, and caring for those in need.
A committed Christian, JoeAnn’s greatest legacy was the role she played as the matriarch of the family. Raising them in the Christian faith, has resulted in the belief and love for Christ to each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her influence continues to guide them.
JoeAnn was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Stephens, and Ronny Stephens; her daughter-in-law, Sherri Pipes; and her granddaughter, Denice de Rozario.
JoeAnn is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William E. Pipes, III; and their children, Annette Pipes de Rozario and her husband, Roger, Darlene Pipes-Wright and her husband, Keith, and William E. Pipes, IV. She was a proud grandmother to Stephani John and Premod, Daniel de Rozario and Melissa, MacKenzie Valentinetti and Jonathon, Dylan de Rozario and Angel, Joshua de Rozario, Christopher Lammering, Victoria Lammering, Samantha Brown and Matt, and Keith Wright and Cheyenne. JoeAnn also leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Larry Stephens.
