John Henry Bryant, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, 801 Friendship Road, Weatherford, 76085.Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley.Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave. Weatherford, 76086. John was born July 8, 1938 in Fort Worth to James and Alma Bryant. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and later received a BA in Business from TCU. He was a real estate broker and owned his own company, The Bryants Company Real Estate. He married the love of his life, Barbara Burchfield, on May 27, 1958 and they had 60 happy years together. John was a member of the Weatherford Board of Realtors, Springtown Lion’s Club and Friendship Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who knew him. John was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alma Bryant; brother, Jimmy Bryant; sister, Beverly Lamantia; and nephew, Kory Bryant. Survivors: Wife, Barbara Burchfield Bryant; children, Tony Bryant, Bruce Bryant and wife, Mechelle and Dana Bryant and husband, Tommy Partain; grandchildren, Jake Bryant, Lindsey Sanderson and husband, Justin, Andrew Bryant, and Benjamin Bryant and wife, Chelsea; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
