John Jay Glovetsky

John Jay Glovetsky, 66, went into the loving arms of Jesus on May 13, 2020 at his home in Springtown, TX. Jay was born May 18, 1954 in Weatherford, TX to Albert and Jennie Young Glovetsky. Jay graduated from Springtown High School in 1972 and the Police Academy in 1975. He had been a police officer with the Springtown Police Department, Crowley Police Department and Fort Worth Marshal’s office. For the past 20 years Jay was a commercial truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Burney Glovetsky, Sons Johnny Glovetsky and wife Chasity, Steven Norris and wife Amber and Greg Norris. Jay had 7 grandchildren ,Cannon Jay, Cayen, Caigan, Hagan, Cooper, Breckin and Wyatt and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Jennie Young Glovetsky. Jay was a loving son, husband, father and Papa Jay. He dedicated his life to taking care of his family and trying to make everyone around him as happy as they could be. He will be missed by many.
