John Duncan McGauchie

John Duncan McGauchie, of Springtown, Texas, passed away Monday March 27 after a lengthy illness. Per Johns request there will be no funeral. A viewing will be held at Whites Funeral home in Azle, Texas on Saturday, April 1, 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. John was born in Southall, England to William McGauchie and Emmeline Chandler McGauchie. He was retired from Motorola after 28 years employment. His favorite activities were fishing, camping, being a rock hound, lapidary and making jewelry from his collection. John was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jackie McGauchie; his daughters, Jennifer Spencer of Fort Worth, Heather Damico and husband, Marcus, of Millsap; sister, Andrea Lee and husband, Gerry of Warminster, England; grandchildren, Collin and Liam Spencer, Hailey and Kaitlyn Waits, Caden and Eliott Damico; cousin, Roger Sturgeon and wife, Lynda of Ealing, England; and several nieces and nephews.
