Johnny was raised in Graford and after a term in the Army he met and married the love of his life, Belva Blue Riddle on December 29,1955. Johnny and Belva had just celebrated their 65th anniversary this past December. The things Johnny loved most were God, enjoying time spent with his family, fishing, taking care of his donkey, and putting puzzles together. He worked for Boro Industries as a cabinet maker for many years and eventually retired from Vent-A-Matics as a delivery driver. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Southside Church of Christ Op Camp. Johnny leaves behind his loving wife, Belva Riddle; three children, Joe Riddle and wife, Claudia, Joyce Palmer-Matthews and husband, Ace and Jeri Gant and Bryan Stewart; sister, Rennie Franklin; grandchildren, Jonathan Riddle, Jessica Riddle, Larry Gilbert and wife, Haley, Randa Gilbert, Ryan Gilbert, David Palmer and wife, Morgan, Ashley Chriestenson and husband, Chad, and Taylor Gant; and great-grandchildren, Chance Gilbert, Maddie Palmer, Baylee Chriestenson and Colten Chriestenson. The ornery nature of Johnny could be seen in his smile, heard in his laugh and if he was giving you a hard time that was him telling you he loved you.
