Joyce Marie Rodgers

Joyce Rodgers, 74, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, July 24, 2017.Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Holly Hills Memorial Park, 100 South Morgan, Granbury.Joyce was born March 18, 1943 in Weatherford, to Grady and Vera Umphress. She graduated from Brock High School and then from TCU with a degree in education and went on to have a career as a Special Education School teacher.  Joyce loved her church and serviced as the organist.Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.Survivors: Son, Cody Rodgers and wife, Erin; sister, Lynda Lentz; grandchildren, Faith, Jack, Grady and James; and a host of loving friends.Services are under the direction of White’s Funeral Home, Weatherford.
