Juanita Joy Hurtt

Juanita Joy Hurtt, 79, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. Graveside service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at White’s Azle Funeral Home. Juanita went to be with Jesus, whom she worshipped deeply. She was a devoted wife of 42 years until the death of Melvin, her husband in 2004. She most enjoyed being with her family. Juanita loved spoiling and doting over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hurtt; parents, Paul and Cora Montgomery; sisters, Wanda Montgomery, Pauline Brown and Linda Harrison. Survivors: Brother, J.W. Montgomery; sons, Tony Hurtt and wife, Sally, Larry Hurtt and wife, Angela; daughters, Susan Randall, Cindy Savage and husband, Tim; grandson, Shawn Randall; granddaughters, Crystal Holden and husband, Allen, Heather Randall, Bailey Savage and Jessica Hurtt; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Parker Holden; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
