Judith "Judy" Ann Smart

Judith Ann Smart went to her heavenly home Monday, May 6, 2019.  Graveside service:  11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Peaster Cemetery, Peaster. Visitation:  6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Judy was born on September 9, 1937 to Hayden and Madeline Hailey in Handley, Texas.  She graduated from Trimble Tech High School.  Judy was a resident of the Peaster community since 1971, and worked in the insurance industry for 40 years.  Judy enjoyed working outside in her yard growing flowers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a woman of simple taste who enjoyed a good hamburger and a cold Dr. Pepper.  There was nothing more important to her than spending time with her family.  She will be missed by her family and friends, and never forgotten.  Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Smart, who passed away on July 24, 1998; her parents, Hayden and Madeline Hailey; her sister, Allie Dean Whiteman; and her grandson, Ethan Smart.  She is survived by her son, Jeff Smart and his wife, Penny; daughter, Amy Rosenbam and Dan Cox; son, Scott Smart and his wife, Rong, and son, Robert Smart and wife, Susan; son-in-law, David Rosenbam; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
