Kai Dayne Carbajal, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the age of 17. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Weatherford. Interment: Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Kai’s memory to First United Methodist Church of Weatherford. Kai was born in Weatherford, Texas on May 22, 2004 to Stevi Maldonado and his biological father Arthur Paul Stephens II. He was blessed with his life-father Don (Mario) Maldonado. In his short life, Kai had many achievements such as graduating early from Weatherford High School in 2021, being an active gamer that liked to live stream the games he played online, and was exceptionally smart. Kai enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, who all loved him, as well as listening to music, working out, and his favorite sport, wrestling. He was very goal-oriented, with a great imagination, which led him to always work hard to achieve his goals. "Remember, a life should not be judged by its length, but rather by its quality." He was preceded in death by his biological father, Arthur Paul Stephens II; grandmother, Alicia Lorraine Carbajal; grandfather, Louis Ignacio Carbajal; and great-grandmother, Deddy (Dooder) Dawn Srimavin. He is survived by his mother, Stevi Maldonado and fiancé, Tony Skinner, of Weatherford; life-father, Don (Mario) Maldonado, of Weatherford; brother and sister, Gabriel Maldonado and Isabel Maldonado; grandparents, Gilda Gay Maldonado, of Mineral Wells, and Mario Maldonado and Wendy Oswald, of Mineral Wells; great-grandfather, Woody Srimavin, of Aledo; uncle, Judson Carbajal, of Weatherford; uncle and aunt, Brandon and Sarah Reynolds, of Decatur, aunt and uncle, Gilda and Micheal Knoop of Mineral Wells, uncle and aunt, Michael and Sue Ellen Regino of Mineral Wells, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.
