Kathryn Manley Pilgrim-Kirkpatrick, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019.Graveside: 2:30 PM, Friday at Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Visitation: 1-2 PM, Friday at White's Funeral Home, Mineral Wells.Kathryn was born January 7, 1933 in Graham, Texas to James Hubert and Lillian Verna Nash Manley. She grew up Baptist and was Baptized in a pond in Oran, Texas. Kathryn graduated from Perrin High School in 1950. She obtained her Master's Degree in Teaching. Kathryn married Billie Boyd Pilgrim on December 30, 1950 in Perrin, Texas. Kathryn retired from Oncor Electric as an investigator but continued to work a farm until 2014. Her hobbies included playing bridge, cards, bowling, and skating. She traveled over most of the Southern and Western United States to follow her husband's career and traveled internationally for recreation. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billie Pilgrim; and brother, Gerald Hubert Manley.Survivors: Sister, Sherlene Nelson; sons, Mike and Jerry Pilgrim; special friend, Dr. Benjamin Kirkpatrick; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
