Kenneth McAliley, 85, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. Service: 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. Kenneth Richard McAliley was born August 10, 1935 in Comanche, Texas to Vernon R. and Annie Louise Johnson McAliley. Kenneth enlisted in the United States Navy right out of high school and did an Atlantic & Pacific tour on the USS Wasp. He grew up in Comanche, but spent most of his adult life in Mineral Wells. He married the love of his life, Dorothy Carey, March 20, 1965 at Santo Church of Christ. He retired from USBrick/Hanson to enjoy time with his family. Kenneth loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Louise McAliley; sister, Pat McAliley; and brother, Lee Rex McAliley. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Dorothy Carey; sons, Carey and wife, Kelli, Craig and wife, Vanh; grandchildren, Ian McAliley, Jacob McAliley and Eric McAliley; sister, Ann Webb and husband, Don; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
