Larry was born May 18, 1944 in Lawrence County, Illinois. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Ella May; children, Kim and Joe Sutton of Saginaw, Marc and Christie Scherer of Hurst; grandchildren, Brett and Karen Scherer of Keller, Audree and Korey Lane of Abilene, Allison and Alana; great-grandchildren, Blakley, Kai, Madison, Troy and Tripp.
