Lawana Helena Byers, 96, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019. Graveside service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White’s Funeral Home, Springtown. Lawana was born November 24, 1922 in Springtown to Jack and Lula Proffitt Wynn. She enjoyed reading, painting, drawing, ceramics and antiquing. Lawana will be very missed by her son and grandchildren. Survivors: Son, Gary Allen Byers of Avery, TX; grandsons, Brian Byers of Saginaw; granddaughters, Deanna Byers Mitchell of Saginaw and Lisa Byers of Saginaw; five great-grandchildren, Monica Byers, Cody Mitchell, Chelsea Blevins, Zachary McIntosh and Raven Dillard.
