She married Tommy Walker on May 26, 1984, on a yacht named "Elektra" in Newport Beach, California. Leslie and Tommy moved to Parker County in 2014 to be closer to family. Her life was full of experiences many can only wish for or imagine. She was a waitress at the Playboy Bunny Club, a stewardess on a DC-3 and she flew a plane solo as part of her pilot's license. She was ahead of her time and a lover of people. Many remember her black Cadillac El Dorado speeding around town as the leading sales associate in Aerospace. Later in life her Ford truck was her favorite to drive around as she traveled to horse competitions or picked up plants from the nursery. Leslie found church was anywhere that she felt the spirit and she loved to sing. Her most treasured accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, her Top 10 in the World award in Senior Reining (NRHA horse show) and her 39 years of marriage to Tommy. She was a gifted artist, known for her ability to take any ordinary item and make it a fashion statement or a focus piece in a perfectly decorated house ~ or the latest project ~ the Airstream travel trailer. Leslie suffered from Alzheimer’s but was a fighter till the end. She was determined to make it to her 80th birthday - which she did. Leslie is survived by her husband, Tommy L. Walker; daughters, Jennifer Matthews Williams and husband, Brian, and Kathryn Stark and husband, Chad; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Matthew Dick, Travis Dick, Ellie Matthews, Victoria Williams, and Alexandria Williams; stepsons, Paul Walker and family, and Mike Walker and family.
