Linda Carol Barnes-Lee, 72, beloved mom, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her home. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2019 at Dobbs Valley Cemetery in Palo Pinto County. Linda was born July 7, 1947 in San Saba County, daughter of William Jeff and Effie Barnes. She spent her life around playdays and rodeos, and her love for horses carried her throughout most of her life. In later years she worked as a caregiver. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, F. G., Jimmy, Speck, and Joe Barnes; sister, Mary Sanders; and two months earlier, by her spouse, Doug Lee. Survivors: Children, Gary Uribe (Drew), Teresa Uribe (Jennifer), Amy Vaughn, Angela Morgan (Chris), and Tiffany Burns (Justin); step-children, Mark Lee and Sam Lee; grandchildren, Keyana, Destiney, Bryant, David, Dylan, Haylee, Hynder, Tuff, Riley, Ryan, Anzley, and Ripton; brother, T. J. and Ramona Barnes; special bonus grandchildren, Taylor, B, and Ally; and numerous other family members and friends.
