In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Good N.E.W.S. for Seniors. 412 Commerce St, Azle, TX 76020 He was born on June 22, 1941 to Lloyd & Pauline Brister in Henrietta . Neal was an athlete in many sports. He played football for Azle, TCU & a semi-pro team. After a short stint with General Dynamics & Lennox, he partnered with his father to establish Brister Motor Co in 1968. For 52 years he took pride in offering quality vehicles at affordable prices. Customers returned to buy cars for themselves, their children & grandchildren year after year. He loved to play & watch golf. He appreciated the discipline & skill needed to excel in a sport executed by an individual. And he was good! But he also enjoyed many team sports including baseball, basketball & football. He held season tickets for the same seats to Azle High School football games for more than 40 years and he would attend many out of town games. His Christianity would shine by way of his treatment of others, and his quiet & anonymous support of numerous charities. He is survived by wife, Loretta Brister; daughter, Natalie Earwood & husband, Wes; and step-daughter, Celia Crist & husband, Larry. Along with numerous nieces, nephews & a multitude of cousins & friends. But nothing surpassed his love for his family. He will be missed by many.
