On February 26, 1949, she married the Love of her Life, Howard Edwards and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage until Howard’s passing in 2006. They moved from Grand Haven, Michigan to Escondido, California, where Howard worked for General Dynamics and started their family. In 1977, the family moved to Weatherford, Texas, while Howard continued his career with General Dynamics. His work with General Dynamics lead them to Caesurae, Israel and then to Taiwan. While living abroad, they enjoyed traveling through Europe and Southeast Asia. Upon retirement, they moved back to Weatherford, Texas and enjoyed travel all over the country in their fifth wheel travel trailer with their two golden retrievers. Jean loved being being Mom, Grandma or Grannie. The light of her life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grand children.
