Visitation: 9 to 10 A.M. Friday, July 15th, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home. Margaret was born February 11, 1951 in Roswell, New Mexico to James and Irene Whiteside. Her family moved from New Mexico to Bovina, Tx and then at the age of 5-6 moved to Odessa, Tx where she was raised and graduated from Odessa High School. Margaret was married to Retired Command Master Chief Mel Bullock for 52 years. Married on December 8, 1969. They were stationed primarily on the West Coast while dad served 24 years in the Military. He retired in 1990 at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and moved his family back to Odessa where they lived until he retired from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and mom from Anderson Merchandising in 2014. They then moved to Weatherford where they made many memories and lived a very leisurely happy life. Mom was one of a kind. She was a devoted wife to our dad, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Everyone that knew her loved her. She was a spitfire and was not afraid to tell you exactly how she really felt, and we loved her for it. She was loved by many and so many loved her. She was funny, thoughtful, stubborn, giving and full of life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, James Eli Whiteside and Irene Whiteside; and granddaughter, Kaylee Bullock. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mel Bullock of Weatherford; brothers and sister, James Whiteside and wife, Diane, of Hilltop Lakes, Freddy Whiteside and wife Debbie of Odessa, and Peggy Smith and husband, Clinton, of Georgetown; children, William Bullock, Kelly Luecke and husband, Troy, of Weatherford, and James Allen Bullock of Monahans; grandchildren, Lydia Bullock, Eli Bullock, Blake Luecke and wife, Megan, Brooke Cox and husband, Chris, Brianna Luecke, Syann Bullock, and Ashley Musick; and great-grandchildren, Keyon Luecke, Tyler Cox, and Kynlee Luecke.
