Marilyn Leah Thomas Linam, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 in Poe Prairie Cemetery, Millsap. Visitation: 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford 76086 Marilyn was born January 6, 1931 in Millsap. She was the daughter of Wiley and Iantha Thomas. Marilyn was married to her best friend and the love of her life, Richard Lee Linam. Marilyn and Lee were married just a few days short of 59 years. She and Lee loved to travel and read. Marilyn never forgot to give God all the glory and praise for her many blessings. Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Lee Linam; her parents, Wiley and Iantha Gilbert Thomas; and her siblings, Henry Leon Hawkins, Ermie Ted Hawkins, Clotee Hawkins Chipman, Vivian Thomas Mock, Foy Thomas, Thelma Thomas Smallwood, Troy Thomas, and Eva Thomas. Marilyn was the youngest of these. Marilyn is survived by her two children, Keith Stanley King and wife, Linda, and Leah Linam O’Quinn and husband, David “Pete”; four grandchildren, Amy Lynn King Nutt and husband, Michael, Ginny Leigh King Bolgiano and husband, Michael, Jami O’Quinn Yaws and husband, Patrick, and David K. O’Quinn and fiance’, Anna Kubenka; seven great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
