Martha Louise Starr, 75, of Azle passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 15, 2020 due to multiple health issues. Graveside Service: 3 P.M. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, TX. Visitation: 8 am to 4 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at White’s Azle Funeral Home. Martha was born January 25, 1945 in Bosque County, Texas to Raymond and Edith Brown. She married the love of her life, Gene Starr and together they raised five children. She was a Christian who loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than life. Martha was known by many as just Memee who enjoyed the outdoors, raising animals, working with kids, and above all spending time with her family. Martha (Memee) was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Starr; father, Raymond Brown; mother, and stepdad, Edith and Charlie Huber; sisters, Sue Ware and Marie Herzog; and brothers, Tracy and Harold Brown. She is survived by her sons, Art and Clay Starr and wife, Anna; daughters, Kathy Starr, Rayanne Thetford and husband, Clinton, and Rhonda Gandy and husband, Buster Lee; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her favorite saying was “You get what you get and don’t throw a fit”
