Marvin James Cage

FORT WORTH - Marvin James Cage, 68, beloved brother, uncle, buddy, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. Graveside Visitation: 9:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022, East Greenwood Cemetery, 500 E. Front Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Graveside Service and Interment: 10:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022, East Greenwood Cemetery. Marvin James Cage was born November 16, 1953 in Dallas, son of James Edward Cage, Jr. and Leela Dorothy Phillips Cage. He was a kind soul, a joy to all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Marvin was a devoted member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church, Fort Worth. He greatly enjoyed putting on his hat and walking down to the Church on Sunday mornings with his donation for the plate in his pocket. He worked at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Blue Mound, for the last 19 years, being employed through Goodwill Industries. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, James; sister, Mary Wallace; brother Lawrence; and mother, Leela Dorothy. Survivors: Sister, Debbie Anderson and husband, Jack; brother, Philip Cage and wife, Kathleen; and many other loving family members, buddy and friends.
