To Livestream Graveside Service Click Here On Friday, December 9, 2022, Mary Frances Britton, loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in Weatherford at the age of 86. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Annetta Cemetery in Annetta. Pallbearers: Grandsons, Shane Muskrat, Andrew Muskrat, Mark Ogle, Matthew Parker, Aaron Peninger, Chris Carpenter, and Honorary Pallbearer, Michael Blaylock. Mary was born May 20, 1936 in Independence, Iowa to Harry Frank Miller and Mary Lucille Reiger. She was a longtime member of Saint Stephen Catholic Church in Weatherford, where she was also a part of the ladies’ bible study, where she made many lifelong friends. Mary was a dedicated employee of ten years at Gibson’s Discount Center, where she worked in the fabric department. She enjoyed church, watching airplanes, playing bingo, fishing, watching Texas Rangers Baseball, and spending time with family and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; and daughters, Mary “Cissy” Ione Muskrat, and Jeanette Britton. Mary leaves behind her brother, Butch Miller (Diane); daughters, Marie Ogle (Alan), Carol Blaylock (Bob), Donna Carpenter (Steve), Diane Peninger (Eric), and Ilene Parker (Jacky); son, Philip Britton; son-in-law, Ken Muskrat; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and one great great-grandchild; and many friends.
