Mary Ruth Harris

Mary Ruth Harris, 90, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. Graveside Service:  2 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford  76088. Visitation:  6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford  76086. Mary was born August 22, 1929 in Fort Worth, daughter of William D. and Hattie Mae Sturdivant Stacks.  She loved to travel, enjoyed music and was a great Country and Western Dancer.  Mary made friends easily and will be missed by all who knew her.  She was very loving and caring and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Mary loved her family and still called her sister every night to tell her goodnight and that she loved her. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 32 years, Johnny Neighbors; husband, Glenn Harris; five sisters; and two brothers. Survivors:  Sister, Virginia Lightsey; and many nieces and nephews.
