Mary Jo Savoy, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019.Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford, TX 76086.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or North Side Baptist Church Missions.Mary Jo Savoy was born on July 5, 1935 in Bridge City, daughter of Joel and Gillie Stiles Cherry. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of their daughters, Frank Farrar Maxwell; and second husband, Lucius James Savoy.Survivors: Daughters, Elizabeth Carol Trent, and Melody White; grandchildren, Sarah Rice, Laura Taylor, Becky Ortega, Robert Trent, Emily Kirk, Katie White Swanson, John David White, Meredith White, Bethany White, Thomas White, and Gabriel White; great-grandchildren, Emma and Edward Rice, Jace Taylor, Elanor and Mable Ortega, Kade and Easton Kirk, and Escher Swanson; siblings, Bobbie Wade, and John Cherry; and many other extended family members and friends.
