Mary Lorene Ritter

Mary Lorene Ritter passed away gently at her home on January 5, 2019 with her loved ones near.  Funeral Service:  2 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment:  East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation:  12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service at White’s. Born in Weatherford, Mary spent her youth in and around Brock. She met and married Cleetis C. Good after the family moved to Riverside. She grieved terribly when Cleetis passed away in 1959. Mary was a loving and fiercely protective mother to their two boys, Cleetis W. and Edward M. Good, for more than seventy years. She was fortunate to have found love again with Fritz Ritter.  They enjoyed traveling through the US, supporting the boys in their activities, and doing a little ranching and fishing at the place in Brock. Mary was active in her communities, devoting her time and talents to the PTA, Garden Club, and Special Olympics. She served as Worthy Matron for the Brock Chapter of the OES and was a member of the Ladies Shrine in Fort Worth.  She will be missed by her sons, Cleetis W. and Edward M. Good; her sisters, Dorothy Cage and Evelyn Parker; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
