Melba Jo White

Melba Jo White passed away March 24, 2019, in Springtown, Texas.  She was born October 24, 1941, in Paducah, Texas, to Sylvester White and Katie Ross White. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Melba was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in First United Methodist Church of Springtown, Texas. Funeral Service:  Friday, March 29, 2019, 2:00 PM Visitation:  Thursday, March 28, 2019, 6-8 PM Interment: Veal Station Cemetery Melba was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wiliam Edward White and Jerry Douglas White, sister Sylvia Jean Vanderbeek. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Scaramouche (Michael); sons Michael Reed (Ronda), Floyd Reed, Jr., David Reed; Grandchildren Diana Scaramouche, Rachael Reed, Kenneth Kinnard, Jr., Sarah Kinnard, Caleb Skinner; brother Henry (Hank) White and sister Kay Williams.
