Michael Joseph Nicholson

Michael Joseph Nicholson, 72, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. Service: 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Briar Baptist Church. Visitation: 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Michael Joseph Nicholson was born June 29, 1946 in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Clarence and Cathryn Nicholson of Ft Worth.   Mike is survived by the love of his life and wife of 30 years, Debbie Nicholson, and they were longtime residents of Azle, Texas.   Mike and Debbie enjoyed spending time at their lakeside home relaxing with family, friends, and his special friend, their 3-year-old Yorkie, “Ivy.” Before starting his own business, Mike proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  For the past 50 years, Mike was greatly respected and well known by his community as a local business man who enjoyed servicing his customers and supporting local causes near and dear to his heart.  Mike also enjoyed boating, fly fishing, working in the yard and just about anything involving the outdoors with his children and grandchildren.
