Mildred Strowd

Mildred Faye Chapman Strowd, 77, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019. Memorial service: 10 a.m., Friday at White's Funeral Chapel, Springtown. Mildred was born November 11, 1941 in Briar to James Ryan and Juanita Bobo Chapman. She loved to fish even though she didn't like to eat them. Mildred also loved to sew. She retired from Tarrant County MHMR.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Buddy Chapman, and son, James Strowd. Survivors: Husband of 59 years, James Edward Strowd; daughter, Teresa Decker; grandchildren, Amanda Campbell, Jennifer Powell and husband, W.T,, James Mayo and wife, Amanda, Leamon Caudle and wife, Chasidy, and Skye Strowd;  7 great-grandchildren, and 2 more on the way.
