Nancy J. Foster

Nancy J. Foster, 83, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Ash Creek Baptist Church. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers  donations may be made in Nancy's name to: Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Help Center, 10328 Jacksboro Hwy. Fort Worth, TX 76135. Nancy was born in Azle July 25, 1934 to W. E. and Johnnie Lee Selden. She graduated from Azle High School and was a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church all of her life. Nancy worked at Tri-County Electric and was a dedicated wife and loving mother who enjoyed raising her children and their many school activities. She relocated to Wyoming in 1978, moved to Oregon and returned to Azle in 2001. Nancy enjoyed playing Mahjong with her dear friends and crocheted daily. She loved to share her homemade dish clothes and pot holders and was known as the “Baby Blanket Lady.” Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sterling Foster; sister, Billann McBride. Survivors: Michael Gilley, Terry Gilley, Lee Gilley (Retta), Richard Foster (Regena) and Brit Eason (Terry), Tami Murphy (Jeff); 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
