Nancy Arlene Underwood

Nancy Arlene Underwood, 83, of Springtown, Texas, beloved mother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, April 29, 2021, at Hilltop Park Assisted Living in Weatherford, Texas. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Tx. Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Tx. Nancy was born 1937 in Ennis, TX to Hilton and Doris Brackin. She married Dennis Ray Underwood on October 17, 1955 in Fort Worth, TX. They moved to Springtown from Fort Worth in 1968 to raise their children and then farmed for many years. Nancy also worked as a beautician. She was known for her loving, giving, heart and enjoyed volunteering for The Hope Center 4 Autism. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Ray Underwood, her son Dennis Ray “Denny” Underwood Jr. , brother Tom Brackin, and her parents. Nancy is survived by her sister Donna Kaye Rose and her husband Ivyl ,sister Janice Kay Brackin, daughter and son in law Susan and Glenn Wood , granddaughter Lindsey Hall and husband Troy, granddaughter Adrienne Wood, great grandchildren Carter, Torielle, Makenna, Evan Dru, Elizabeth, and Eli, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
