Nina Henderson passed from this life on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories. 

Burial: Lone Star Cemetery, 5198 Advance Rd., Poolville.

Nina was born June 15, 1938 in Boyd, Texas to Johnny and Bessie Wright. She graduated from Boyd ISD and attended two years of business college. Nina was employed 11 years for White's Funeral Home. She was an instructional assistant working 35 years for Poolville and Springtown ISD, touching many lives. She was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Reno and a long-time resident of Poolville.

Nina loved her two grandsons wholeheartedly, answering to "Grandma Nina", and had an unconditional love for them both, and her daughter, Beverly and husband, William. She had an enormous giving heart, loving God, and was devoted to her family, friends, and was a big supporter of her grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Bessie Wright; sister, Naomi Washburn; brothers, Marion Wright, Elmo Wright, Rev. William Wright, and Robert Wright; sisters-ln-law, Juanita Wright, Evelene Wright, and Billie Wright; brothers-ln-law, Jackie Ray, and Paul Washburn; nephews, Bruce Washburn, Mitchell Ray, and David Wright; niece, Denise Ray; and aunt, Nina Meyers.

Nina is survived by her daughter, Beverly and husband, William (Poolville); grandsons, William Shane and Coy Allen and wife, Katy (Poolville); great-grandchildren, Rylee and Cole; sister, Avinell Ray (Rio Vista); god-daughter, Jana Bergeron Leeper (Austin); sister-ln-law, Linda Wright (Lubbock); and special nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins.
