Ora “Jane” Hamilton, 74, beloved Mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at home with her family. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3712 S. Hwy. 281 in Mineral Wells. Jane was born May 7, 1945 in Mineral Wells, daughter of Vernard Lee and Connie Blackerby Graves. She was raised in Millsap until the family moved to Mineral Wells where she graduated from Mineral Wells High School. Jane met William Clayton Hamilton, they fell in love and were married July 18, 1964 in Mineral Wells. They spent 51 wonderful years together raising their six children. Jane was a loving stay at home wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family and particularly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandson. Jane welcomed each grandchild with open arms and they were all the light of her life. Jane was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on October 29, 1972 and faithfully served and worshiped with her brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernard and Connie Graves; husband of 51 years, William Clayton Hamilton; brothers, V. L., Jr., and Frank; sister, Dixie Hearne. Survivors: Daughters, Claissa Hamilton, Connie Snider and spouse, David, Kay Hamilton, Katherine Hamilton and spouse, Michael McQuern, Carrie Tyner and spouse, Rob; son, William Hamilton, Jr. and spouse, Venus; grandchildren, Stephen Ferreira, Rachel (Snider) Bryant, Andrew Snider, Zachary Ferreira, Harlie Hamilton, Kale Ferreira, Mikeal Hamilton, Jude Hamilton, and Klayton McQuern; great-grandson, Logan Ferreira; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
