Peggy Hill Butler, 88, went to be safe in the arms of Jesus Saturday, June 9, 2018. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at The First Baptist Church in Saginaw, 300 N Old Decatur Rd., Saginaw, 76179, with an hour visitation immediately following. Interment: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Austin Memorial Park. Peggy was born December 18, 1929 in Aquilla, TX to Frank and Clara Hill. She married the love of her life, Theodore C. Butler, in Coudersport, PA on December 18, 1948. She was a devoted Christ follower, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by many. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clara Hill; brothers, Clyde Hill, Clifton Hill, Kenny Hill, Dale Hill, and Billy Hill; sisters, Martha Whitaker, Molly Ellis, and Lillie Beck; son-in-law, Matthew Myrick; and granddaughter, Sonya Oliver. Survivors: husband, Theodore Butler of Weatherford; children, David Butler and wife, Ann, of Spicewood, Tim Butler and wife, Janet, of Liberty Hill, Patti Howe and husband, Danny, of Weatherford, and Christy Mattingly and husband, Louis, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Laura Welty and husband, Chad, Ryan Butler, Rebecca Howe, Bonner Butler, Lynn Tortorici, Bobby McNutt, Matilyn Myrick, Nicole Mattingly, Tate Myrick, J.T. Mattingly, Luke Myrick, and Embry Myrick; great-grandchildren, Selah, Eva, Elisha, and Micah Welty; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
