Phillip Wayne Johnson, 79, passed from this life August 8, 2018, in Fort Worth after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday at Aledo-Brown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Philip was born in Kermit, Texas on July 13, 1939. He was raised in Santa Anna, Texas where he attended school through the tenth grade prior to graduating from Kirby High School in Woodville, Texas in 1957. He was an Air Force veteran, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and a Master Mason. He retired after 41 years with the Fort Worth division of General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. Phillip enjoyed traveling and camping in his RV while visiting many states. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Survivors: brother, Daniel Johnson of Aledo; sister, Semianne Hayden and husband, Chris, of Fort Worth; niece, Cindy Heady and husband, Rick, of Aledo; nephew, Michael Johnson of Aledo; great-nephew, Nicholas Heady of Dallas; niece, Muriel Hayden of Fort Worth; and special friend, Jennie V. Gourly of Whitney.
