R V Trammell

RV Trammell, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1010 Timberoaks Drive, Azle, 76020.Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice. RV was born July 12, 1937 in Earth, Texas to the late Theodore Roosevelt “Ted” Trammell and Vena Iona Sisk Trammell. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and served in the National Guard for 10 years. He married the love of his life, Judy Davis, on August 19, 1966 and they spent many happy years together raising their family. He enjoyed researching his family's genealogy, bowling, and “treasure hunting” with his metal detector, He was a hard worker, dedicated father, and devoted husband who will be missed by all who knew him. RV was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Roosevelt “Ted” Trammell and Vena Iona Sisk Trammell; siblings, Alma Jean Jones, Monnie Nell Garrett, and Gary Mack Trammell; and son, Christopher. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Judy Trammell; daughter, Rhonda Trammell and wife, Gina; sons, Scott Trammell and wife, Tammy and Jamie Trammell and wife, Valerie; grandchildren, Taylor Trammell and Jordan Trammell Harris and husband, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Theodore Harris; sisters, Evelyn Shackelford and Neoma Ward and husband, Walter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
