Regina Sue Watson, 58, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 after losing her battle with depression and anxiety disorder. There will be a public viewing Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Whites Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2251 Bethel Road, Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, please contact family for memorial contributions. Regina was born October 24, 1960 in Weatherford. She attended and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1978. Regina then worked for many years as a manager for Jack in the Box, and many more years at Wal-Mart, where she was known as the “Toy Lady”. She enjoyed various volunteer work, often holding bake sales for cycling charities, scouting, and her children’s school fundraisers. Regina was a mentor for the WISD STAR program, and received many recognitions for her contributions. She was a member of Klassy Kloggers of Weatherford, the Fort Worth Bicycling Association, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she taught children to sing. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Bowman; mother, Johnnie Bowman, both of Weatherford; and brother, Alex Bowman of Weatherford. Survivors include sister, Denise Morgan of Mineral Wells; brother, Kevin Bowman; sister-in-law, Lynn Graham, both of Henrietta, Texas; children, Michael Rataiczak of South Carolina, Ivan Watson, Kristina Watson, Richard A. Watson, III, and Adam Watson, all of Weatherford; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
