Reverend Otha Delano (O.D.) Robertson

Reverend Otha Delano (O.D.) Robertson, 83, was born October 6, 1933 in Palo Pinto County and was welcomed into heaven from Tyler, TX on May 11, 2017, surrounded by family. O.D.’s Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the main tabernacle of the Texas Church of God Convention Center, 2240 Fort Worth Highway, Weatherford, 76086. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. O.D. married Melva June Mowell on August, 6, 1960.  Together they evangelized throughout Texas before accepting their first pastorate at the Pittsburg Church of God.  O.D and June met for the first time at camp-meeting on the Texas Church of God Campground, and together they served in ministry over a span of more than half a century.  He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Otha Robertson, his brother Forester Robertson, his sister Goldie Robertson Sheets, his grandson, Ryan Anderson and granddaughter, Mara Naomi Robertson.  Survivors include his wife, Melva June Robertson; children, Gina Anderson and husband Doug, Aubrey Robertson and wife Tangi, Daniel Robertson and wife Victoria; grandchildren, Reece, Ty, Michael, Max, Brena, Tessa, Luci, Rina, Seth, Noah, Eli, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Lachlan, Aiden, Kadence, and Lukas; brother, Marvin Robertson and wife Jeanette; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends.
