Richard Warren Hamill

Richard Warren Hamill of Springtown, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2020. Richard was born in McKinney, Texas, on June 20, 1961, to Patricia and Richard Hamill. He graduated from MacArthur High School and continued on serving his county in more ways than one. Rick was a loving and devoted husband and best friend to Dana Hamill for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Dana Hamill; and their beloved service dog, Deuce; his parents, Patricia and Richard Hamill of McKinney; his mother-in-law, Jean Wilson of Reno; his sister, Dawn and husband Brad Hubbard of Cedar Hill; 6 children, Jeremy Hamill of Henry, Tennessee, Jennifer and husband Kevin Landers of Springtown, John and wife Brandie Boyle of Azle, Marty and wife Tamara Boyle of Cottondale, Jerid and wife Chelsey Hamill of McKinney, Justin and wife Kasey Hamill of Winterville, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents Carl Rucker and Clara Lee Cody Hamill; Lawrence William and Paulene "Polly" Lewis Kemp; and father-in-law Jimmy Jo Wilson. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at White's Funeral Home in Springtown, Texas. Visitation will be Monday, September 14, 2020, between 6-8 PM at White's Funeral Home in Springtown, Texas. Interment will follow the funeral at Springtown Cemetery. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
