Richard Lee Linam

Richard Lee Linam 81, passed away on October 11, 2017.  Visitation for Lee will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford, Texas  76086.  There will be a graveside funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Poe Prairie Cemetery. Lee was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, he was 81 years old.  He was the son of Richard and Mabel Linam.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he worked as a draftsman until he was honorably discharged.  Lee worked as a mechanical engineer and was a storehouse of knowledge.  His name is on many patents. Lee always enjoyed his work.  He loved to travel and was a great photographer. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Richard Linam and Mabel Dudley Linam; and his siblings, Aileen Linam, Louellen Linam Webb, Carolyn Linam Gray, Nolen Linam and Mary Linam. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Thomas Linam; children, Leah Linam O’Quinn and husband, Pete, Keith S. King and wife, Linda;  four grandchildren, Jami O’Quinn Yaws and husband, Patrick, David K. O’Quinn, Amy King Nutt and husband, Michael, Ginny King Bolgiano and husband, Michael; seven great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild; and  his dear friend of over 60 years, Chris Sarandis and wife, Peggy.
