Richard H. Olson

Weatherford - Richard H. Olson, 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. Funeral Service:  2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at White's Funeral Home. Richard was born January 9, 1940 in Chicago, Ill., son of the late Harry and Gabriella Salato Olson.  He worked as a Project Manager and Chief Electrical Estimator in the electrical industry for many years.  Richard met and married Eunice Hicks and they spent 43 wonderful years together raising their daughters.  He loved to fish and watch western movies, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors:  wife, Eunice Olson; daughters, Gina Lavoie, Pamela Altmann, and Debbi Barnes; one sister; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and lots of wonderful adopted family and friends.
