Glen passed away on Friday, December 20th after losing a battle against Alzheimer’s. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 30th at the First United Methodist Church of Azle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to James L. West in Care of Development, Ft. Worth. His life was full of joy and happiness. He started his professional career as a history teacher in Corpus Christi. Glen became an IRS agent starting in Odessa, TX, eventually he left the IRS and became a FBI special agent stationed in Seattle, Mobile and eventually Fort Worth. He retired from the FBI in 1988, after being in the Bureau for 21 years. Glen loved to travel with his wife, Kathy, play golf, member of Azle Rotary Club, charter member of the Azle Lions Club, and member of the First United Methodist Church of Azle. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Olan and Bessie NeSmith; brother, Don NeSmith; and sisters, Dorothy Reeves, and Glynda NeSmith. Survivors: wife of 41 years, Kathy NeSmith, daughters, Scarlett Bush and husband, Kirby, and Amy NeSmith; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, a niece, and great nieces and nephews.
