Roma Katheryn Taylor, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Willow Park. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford. Roma was born August 4, 1927 in Hillsboro, daughter of Wes and Pearl (Jones) Johnson. She loved gospel and country music and she and her siblings sang gospel music together when they were young. Her nickname was “cricket”, a name given to her by her brothers and sisters. Her children, Baize, Kathy, Dennis and Brenda, were the Light of her Life. Roma was the most fun Mom ever to her four children and that extended to her grandchildren and great-grands as well. She loved baking cookies, homemade rolls and sausage balls for her precious family. Roma was a member of the Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing SkipBo. Roma never met a stranger and had many dear friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.Roma was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Taylor; daughter, Kathy Taylor; and son, Dennis Taylor. She is survived by her son, Baize Taylor and wife, Shirley; daughter, Brenda Connel and husband, E. A.; grandchildren, Brent & Mindy Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Brock Taylor, James Taylor, Daniel and Denisse Taylor, Matthew and Reasey Lee, Sara and Jeremy Henard, Jessica Taylor, Colton Taylor, Trey Graham, and Trent Graham; great-grandkids, Michael Taylor, Harleigh and Rhyder Henderson, Lily Lee, Meadow and Leo Henard, Olivia and Addison Taylor, Edward Taylor, and Harper Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends.
