Roy C. Jones, 76, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at White's Azle Chapel, Azle 76020. Roy was born March 9, 1945 in Pontiac, Michigan. He enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening, being outdoors and taking care of his dog, Shadow. Roy had been a resident of Azle for 20 years. He honorably served in the military for 2 years. Roy retired from General Motors. Survivors: Wife, Judy Jones; Son, Richard Jonkowisk of Michigan; step-children, Robert Burke and wife, Dorothy of Lubbock, Tammy Herington and Jackie of Alvarado, Glen Burke and Stephanie of Mineral Wells and Kevin Burke and wife, Megan of Hillsboro; mother, Gladys Sanford of Michigan; sister, Wilma Herington and Al of Boyd; brother, Jerry Jones of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
