Ruby May Steel

              Ruby May Steel, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday at White’s Azle Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park Visitation: 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday at White’s Funeral Home, Azle Ruby was born to John Andrew and Eula Odelia Sellers Burch June 9, 1929 in Blum, TX.      After receiving a wound to her leg at age five, she spent many years in hospitals undergoing treatments. Due to her injury, she was home schooled by her Aunt Jessie Maggie Burch. Ruby married Leroy Ben Steel, Sr. and they went on to have four children. She was known for her beautiful crochet and her motherly ways to all. Her house was home to everyone who entered. Ruby lived a wonderful life full of family and friends that loved her dearly.      She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Ben Steel; grandchildren, Dustin Reed Colwell and Danny Carl Steel, Jr.; siblings, Jackie Monroe Burch, twin sister, Ruthie Fay Burch-Gordon, and Etta Marie Burch-Monk. Survivors: Children, Yolanda Sue Fratzke, Leroy Ben Steel, Jr., Danny Carl Steel and Janice Dalrymple; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Burch and Delores Burch.
