Rudolph "Rudy" Joseph Paupke

Rudolph Joseph “Rudy” Paupke, 84, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. Funeral Service:  3 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Central Christian Church, 1602 South Main Street, Weatherford  76086. Interment:  10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas  75211. Visitation:  6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford  76086. Rudy was born March 10, 1935 in West Allis, Wisconsin, son of Rudolph James and Thresa Kurtx Paupke.  He retired from the United States Air Force as Sgt. Rudolph J. Paupke.  Rudy was loyal to America and to everyone in his family.  He was a kind and gentle soul and he loved his family with all of his heart.  Rudy loved the Lord and loved to sing his praises in the church choir.  He played golf everyday until he could no longer swing a club.  Rudy has now joined his one love, Ida, in heaven.  Now they sit together again, drinking coffee, and catching each other up on weekly gossip.  Now it’s time to rest. Survivors:  Twin sister, Patt Browy of South Carolina; son, Randy Paupke; daughter, Patricia Dees; grandchildren, Don and Bobbie Dees, Jodi Paupke, Linsi Paupke and husband, Jon Piersall, Michael and Elizabeth Dees, and David Allison; several great-grandchildren, with more on the way; and many more family and friends.
