Ruth Enid Whitaker

Ruth Enid DeFacio Whitaker, 77, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020. Funeral Service:  11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford, Texas  76086. Interment:  East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation:  10 a.m to 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Ruth Enid Whitaker was born November 19, 1942 in Palestine, daughter of Bill and Nina Defacio.   She was a longtime resident of Tyler, TX and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, where she made many deep friendships. Ruth enjoyed working as a homemaker, photographer's assistant & running her own business, Weddings to Remember. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends very much and would do anything for them.  Survivors:  Husband of 59 years, Billy Whitaker; Sons, Robert and Steve; Grandchildren, Jordan, Honour, Derek and Christian.
