Samuel Taliaferro

Samuel Taliaferro, 78, passed away Monday June 24, 2019. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday June 28, at the First Baptist Church of Springtown.Interment: Springtown Cemetery.Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Samuel Taliaferro was born July 8, 1940 in Leon, OK. He was the son of James and Cora Taliaferro. He was a long-time resident of Springtown. Sam was an avid Christian who loved the Lord and loved to travel. He was blessed to be able to see much of the world in his lifetime. While Sam had many interests, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Sam was a Godly man who blessed all of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Lecreca Taliaferro; and his beloved wife, Norma Taliaferro. Survivors: Sons, Kenneth Taliaferro, Michael Taliaferro and wife, Sandy, all of Springtown, and Chuck Taliaferro of Haslet; daughter, Cathy Swofford of Springtown; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great church family; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
