Sandra Kay Braudaway of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Brownfield. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford 76086. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at White’s Funeral Home, Weatherford. Sandra was born in Fort Worth, on February 19, 1947 to Delbert W. Hancock and Lottie M. Dunham. She was a life-long member of the Texas Church of God and loved the Lord with all her heart. Not only did she love the Lord but she loved her family who were all a very important part of her life. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Lottie M. Dunham; father, Raymond Howard; step-father, Charles E. Dunham; sister, Patricia D. Deal; daughter-in-law, Deborah K. Hoover; grandson, Brandon Wayne; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth; and nephew, Bryan Hageman; along with many loving aunts and cousins. What a joyous fellowship is going on beyond the heavens at this moment. She is survived by her sisters, Schatzi Hageman of Nashville, Tenn. and Marie Dunham of New Jersey; her children, Carolyn Dianne Hoover of Alvarado, Richard Van Hoover of Maple Valley, Wash., Heather DeAnn Cruse of Alvarado and Paula Marie Hall and her husband, Adrian, of Weatherford; step-daughters, Terri Lynn Doss and her husband, Donnie, of Lakeside, and Brenda Darlene Buck and her husband, Jerry, of Newark, along with their children, nephew, Zoel Douglas Downs of Warrensburg, Mo. and niece, Donnetta Marie Howard and her husband, Karl, of Weatherford, nephew, Erwin Dunham, niece, Barbara Jones, both of New Jersey, along with many great nieces and nephews and several cousins; 12 grandchildren, which include, Christopher and his fiancé, Brooke, Brooklyne and her husband, Travis, Courtney and her husband, Tanner, Danielle, Corissa and her fiancé, Philip, Timothy, Corinne, Corria and her boyfriend, Joe, Alexandra, Brianna, Bailey and Beth; 12 great-grandchildren, Emery, Kherington, Aniston, Autumn, Bender, Easton, Kyle, Aspen, Ryoden, Amelia, Olivia and Travis, Jr.; and her precious cat companion, Molly. “I love them all, I was blessed!” She leaves behind a huge legacy that is something to be proud of, and she will be missed, however she will continue to be our guardian angel!
