Sharon Kay Mitts (Marsh), 77, who courageously fought and beat cancer three different times, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Weatherford, TX.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025 at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford.

Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill Cemetery Rd., Sunset, Texas.

Sharon was born April 19, 1947 in Chanute, Kansas to Henry Marsh and Evelyn (Gilmore) Ellis. She grew up in Kansas where she graduated from Olathe High School and then began married life. She moved shortly thereafter to Texas where she lived for the remainder of her life.

Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her love of gardening, scrapbooking and reading. She also had a love for history, photography, journaling and genealogy.

Later in her life, she found much joy by encouraging, caring for and serving others, just as God has called us to do. She lived out her daily life with a strong faith in the Lord and was a proud member of North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Ellis, and Henry Marsh; and her sister, Patricia Burris.

Sharon is survived by her children, Dalene Perrin, Krissy Jimeson, Mark Lynd and wife, Helen, and Lisa Canaday and husband, Greg; her grandchildren, Derek Perrin and wife, Andrea, Johnathon Longworth, Dylan Perrin and wife, Lauren, Angel Bean and husband, Dustin, Kelsey Dover, Kylie Scates, Caitlyn Lynd, Connor Canaday, and Kevin Lynd; her brother, David Adams; her cherished nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends.
